BitNinja Server Security is an agent that resides in your infrastructure and sends information about any attacks it encounters to a central cloud server. It’s simple to configure and requires no maintenance. Plus, every server protected benefits from all the incident information of other servers running BitNinja.
The BitNinja Defense Network
Every server protected with this tool is part of a powerful learning system, the BitNinja Defense Network. All servers collect and exchange information with each other about attacks, thus the network magnifies cybersecurity capabilities.
For example, if an attack occurs on a server protected by BitNinja, the IP will be immediately blocked not only on the attacked server, but also on every single server protected by BitNinja around the world.
Each server receives the latest information about which IP addresses are safe and which are malicious, and as the knowledgebase of attacks grows, the Defense Network becomes more and more effective.
What does BitNinja protect you from?
Using BitNinja, your Virtuozzo PaaS environment gets full stack protection against malware and malicious activities such as:

How to install BitNinja
BitNinja Server Security is available as an add-on in the Marketplace built into the Virtuozzo Application Platform. It can be installed on any certified load balancer or application server within the platform. Here’s a quick guide.
1. Go to your platform dashboard, find BitNinja in the Marketplace and click Install. Alternatively, you can get the manifest from GitHub using this link. Check out this documentation if you need a guide for that.
2. Choose the environment and node with the application to be protected. Click Install.
3. Once the add-on is installed, it will automatically create a BitNinja account for you. To finish installation, you just need to click on an activation link sent to the email address associated with your Virtuozzo Application Server.
Look for a message with the subject [BitNinja Account Activation] Quick setup + Results in 12 hours.
4. Follow the link in the message, set up a password for your account, and log into the BitNinja console.
That’s it: now your server is under automatic protection.
The BitNinja console
Every node with the add-on installed will be added automatically to the Servers section of the BitNinja console.
