What does infrastructure paradise look like? Meet us at infra/STRUCTURE 2023!

Shangri-La Hotel | Toronto, Canada | OCTOBER 4-5, 2023

Ahh, Shangri-La! A fictional Tibetan paradise created by James Hilton in his 1933 novel, Lost Horizon. Toronto’s Shangri-La Hotel is far from fictional, however, which is fortunate because it’s the location for this year’s infra/STRUCTURE summit – an event that focuses on the status and future of the cloud, datacenter, edge and managed infrastructure industry.

We’ll be there to contribute to and learn from the discussion. Has the industry lost its direction? What is on the horizon for the future? What does paradise look like from an infrastructure perspective?

If you’re going too, get in touch to set up a chat!

Next-Generation Mass-Market Cloud Services

We’re taking part in a panel session about Next-Generation Mass-Market Cloud Services, on Wednesday 4th October in the King Room, 5:30 - 6:00pm. Here’s the summary…

“Hosting and cloud services are evolving rapidly. There is more orientation to CMS and e-commerce platforms, and DR, while providers are turning to hyperscale and webscale platforms for raw infrastructure and value-add capabilities around security, CDN and performance. What are the opportunities and where is growth coming from?”

Our VP Cloud, Joe Morgan, together with Ben Gabler, CEO at Rocket.net, and Carrie Wheeler, President of Liquid Web, will attempt to unpack this in conversation with Structure Research’s Philbert Shih.

Is there a missing link?

While we’re 100% behind mass-market hosting (and work with some of the world’s biggest hosting providers); and while we absolutely believe in the importance of the CMS for the future of hosting and cloud… it’s likely that we’ll bring up a third growth/opportunity direction.

One of the biggest changes in the infrastructure business is our ability to simplify infrastructure access and pricing. And, to do this to such an extent that any service provider – including small MSPs and resellers who aren’t infrastructure specialists – can access and resell the infrastructure they need, without becoming dependent on the big global players.

We believe that’s the kind of change the industry really needs. If you’d like to know more, or arrange a friendly meeting at infra/STRUCTURE, just drop us a line. Thanks!
