Comdirect Social Media Campaigns
Financial topics make people feel behind, and Black Week makes people spend without thinking. Across several comdirect campaigns, I edited and animated videos that pushed back on both, breaking down money basics for a Gen Z audience and asking bargain hunters to pause before buying.

Project Overview
Client: Comdirect
Industry: Finance
Timeline: 2024
My Role: Editor & Motion Designer
At Elbdudler, I worked on several social media campaigns for comdirect, handling editing and motion design for the video content.
The biggest was FAQ Money, a series on TikTok and Instagram explaining financial basics, things like ETFs, inflation, or the difference between gross and net income, to a Gen Z audience who feel overwhelmed by finance topics and don't know where to start. The tone is casual and direct. The campaign won a German Brand Award 2025 in the category Brand Communication & Social Media (Excellence in Brand Strategy and Creation).
Another was a Black Week campaign built around the message "NO! You shouldn't buy that." Instead of pushing deals, it encouraged people to pause before buying into (supposed) Black Week bargains and think about conscious spending, a message that carried into the Christmas season as well.
