Jelastic, multi-cloud platform provider, and beebyte hosting company today announced their cooperation on launching beebyte PaaS with application and container management services at the Swedish market.
Jelastic CEO, Ruslan Synytsky says, "We are excited to partner with beebyte offering cutting-edge DevOps solutions and services to their customers. Jelastic PaaS and beebyte cooperation ensures that every company or developer can benefit from the instant productivity improvements and have a positive digital experience during their cloud journey.”
beebyte is releasing the cutting-edge combination of PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service) and CaaS (Container-as-a-Service) hosted in Sweden and supported by a local team of technical experts. With this newly launched cloud platform powered by Jelastic, users have the opportunity to easily create high-available and high-performance database and application server clusters, run scalable Docker containers, set up out-of-box Elastic Kubernetes installations, and manage all this functionality within a unified intuitive UI.
"When we launched beebyte four years ago, we wanted to challenge the traditional hosting market and offer the best premium services to all of our customers. With over 4000 customers, we have made a substantial difference giving a new life to all users and companies that depend on the internet in their business. Now we’ve taken the next step to advance the cloud hosting market providing a turnkey platform and container technology. With the newly launched beebyte PaaS, we empower users to build services and applications without having to worry about the server infrastructure. This offering positions our company as a strong competitor to both international and national companies in this area, and helps us continue our fast growth and market leadership vector," says Niclas Alvebratt, CEO of beebyte.
The goal of beebyte Paas is to become the easiest and most cost efficient choice for the Swedish ISVs, digital agencies, e-commerce and finance projects, IT departments and individual developers. The platform is implemented within beebyte's own service line with the data stored in their state-of-the-art data centers located in Karlstad.
A new payment model is also implemented with this platform, so users will no longer have to pay for allocated or allotted resources as in the case with traditional server hosting. Instead, users will only pay for the resources the application actually consumes (pay-per-use). This service can also be automatically scaled vertically and horizontally in order to fit the application needs, while users determine the minimum and maximum limit of required resources.
"This platform will be a popular cloud alternative for app developers, SaaS suppliers and e-commerce managers. Right from the start we will offer automatic scaling of resources for WordPress, WooCommerce and Magento clusters. It also supports a wide array of scripting languages such as Java, PHP, Node.js, Python, Ruby and others" says Niclas.
The registration at the beebyte PaaS is already open, so the cloud platform functionality can be easily checked within the available trial period.
