We at Virtuozzo are deeply saddened about the invasion of Ukraine by Russian military forces over the past week. As a multinational software company, we have offices and employees in 20 countries around the world including Ukraine. We categorically do not support the war that the Russian government started in Ukraine and we fully comply with global sanctions against Russia.
Our first priority is the safety and welfare of our employees and their families. The company is working around the clock to help secure their safety and is in daily contact with our team members to provide assistance in the affected regions.
Our efforts include relocating employees and their families in war zones, improving conditions wherever they are. We are working to provide aid outside the walls of our company as well. Our Ukrainian team is adapting our Lviv office to provide temporary shelter for area refugees, and we are lending support to Ukrainian humanitarian organizations that are working to deliver much-needed resources and relief across the country.
In parallel, we are sensitive to how this war concerns our clients. Service continuity is a key priority, which is why we have invoked our Business Continuity Plan to continuously monitor and mitigate the impact on our operations. We have taken steps to ensure there is no disruption and, to date, are delivering on that commitment. Understandably, the situation is highly volatile. We continue to adapt to new information as quickly as possible.
Virtuozzo customers and partners have delivered a continuous outpouring of support while staff members outside of the war zone have proactively offered relocation assistance to their teammates and their family members in harm’s way. Words of appreciation do not do these incredible acts of kindness and selflessness justice.
We will continue to do whatever is possible to help alleviate the pain and suffering being experienced by all those affected. We hold them all in our hearts and join the brave voices around the globe in a call for peace.
