The horrific events that have occurred over the past 2 weeks have had a direct and severe impact on so many of our close colleagues, customers, partners, and their families. Our team has been focused on ensuring their safety. We are humbled by the resilience of these brave men, women, and children and by the outpouring of support from our extended Virtuozzo family, which includes all of you – our partners and friends. Together, we stand in support of the people in Ukraine.
Virtuozzo’s team in Lviv, Ukraine has been transforming our office into a resting place for those seeking refuge while in transit. In support of Ukraine, we are working to provide more than $150,000 of aid to humanitarian efforts that are directly helping families who have been impacted by the war.
We are grateful for our partner, Jacobs University Bremen, who is offering to house war-affected Ukrainian students and professors over 55 (women) and 60 (men) years old at its university facilities in Germany. The acts of war by the Russian military and Russian government are categorically against our beliefs as a global organization. We stand united with Ukraine and have therefore made the decision to suspend operations in Russia.
