Jelastic is excited to announce the partnership with CloudSigma that launched our turnkey Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solution on top of its powerful cloud infrastructure.
CloudSigma’s PaaS offering allows developers, IT consultants, and system integrators to easily set up their applications as the configuration and environment provisioning can be managed with extreme simplicity. This PaaS solution is ideal for applications that serve variable loads. It enables scalability, high availability, and separation of services.

The launched solution is language-neutral, allowing clients to provision out-of-the-box Java, PHP, Ruby, Python, Node.js, .NET or Go development or production environments as well as Docker and Kubernetes clusters with zero code change.
The new PaaS further allows the customers to greatly reduce their infrastructure cost, improve uptime, and enhance security. In addition, the turnkey solution includes a variety of tools and functionalities required by businesses to get them up and running in the cloud seamlessly.

Unlike most hosting services, Jelastic PaaS installed on CloudSigma’s data centers does not force developers to follow any specific requirements of immutable infrastructure, proprietary runtimes, or API to host a project. Altogether, this zero code change policy makes deployment easier and more seamless, reducing go-to-market time and eliminating vendor lock-in.
- Cloud-Native and Traditional Application Support
The real strength of the solution lies in its flexibility. It is compatible with a vast range of technologies. This PaaS does not require using a specific approach or application design in order to deploy cloud-native microservices and legacy monoliths. In addition, clients are not forced to modify their code to a proprietary API in order to deploy applications to the cloud.
For example, they can easily deploy Java, PHP, Ruby, Python, .NET, Node.js, .NET, and Python applications with no code changes using Docker, GIT, SVN, archives, or integrated plugins like Maven, Ant, Eclipse, and many more. It allows customers to deploy their applications in seconds, while we take care of the rest.
- Automatic Vertical and Horizontal Scaling
Elastic automatic scaling enables granular resource allocation based on the load level. This ensures high performance, application availability and uptime, at the same time, cost efficiency by paying only for really consumed resources.
- Managed Clustered Solutions within the Marketplace
Already prepackaged templates of clustered WordPress, Magento, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Tomcat, GlassFish, Kubernetes and other solutions are available in the Jelastic Marketplace. These highly-available clusters are automatically deployed, scaled and replicated, so require minimum efforts for support and management.
- Pay-As-You-Use Pricing Model
There is no need to reserve resources, as the platform allocates them automatically based on the current load using a small scaling step (128 MiB of RAM and 400 MHz of CPU). As a result, the payment is taken only for actually consumed resources but not for the VM limits.
Our PaaS offering allows companies to focus solely on their business growth instead of spending resources and efforts on IT infrastructure configuration and management.
