Pebble is a lightweight open source Java EE blogging tool. It's small, fast and feature-rich with unrivalled ease of installation and use. Blog content is stored as XML files on disk and served up dynamically, so there's no need to install a database. Let's deploy this great blogging tool to the cloud and start using it right now.
Create environment
1. Log into the Jelastic Manager
2. Click Create environment to set up a new environment in Jelastic.
3. In the Environment topology dialog pick Tomcat as your application server and type your environment name, for example, Pebble. Then click Create.
Wait just a minute for your environment to be created.
Upload Java package
1. Go to pebble.sourceforge.net and download the Pebbles current stable release pebble-2.6.4.zip file.
2. Extract the files from the package you have just downloaded.
3. Switch back to Jelastic dashboard and upload pebble-2.6.4.war package to the Deployment manager.
4. Deploy your Java package to the environment you have created earlier.
Now you can open Pebble in a web browser, complete the installation process and start using it!
That's it! BTW the default credentials are username/password.
